Yes! This is not a pain-free process, but we try to make it as fast and painless as possible. If you have a low pain tolerance, consider taking a few ibuprofen beforehand and try to avoid having caffeine leading up to your appointment.
The hair needs to be at least half an inch long, or even longer for the best results. Avoid shaving for at least two weeks before your appointment.
It depends on which service you are getting, but most services take about 15 minutes.
Shower and exfoliate the area beforehand. Wear loose clothing to your appointment, and consider taking a few ibuprofen if you have particularly sensitive skin.
Yes, but your skin can be more sensitive during this time which can make the wax more painful.
Avoid getting a wax if you are taking acetone, retina-a, retinol, or any type of anti-aging products. If you take diabetic medication, or any medication that thins your blood or makes your skin sensitive, you would want to refrain from waxing, as well. In addition, if you are currently sunburnt or tan in a tanning bed regularly, it is not recommended to get a wax.
Yes, but you might have increased sensitivity. It is perfectly safe to get a wax up until about two weeks before due date.
